Education Studies

Understand and re-imagine education as a vital social process that extends far beyond schools. In education studies, you will delve into the sociology, political economy, cultural foundations, philosophy and history of education. Gain practical experience in educational settings and through study abroad, plus conduct original research through our two-semester senior capstone.

With a focus on research, practice, theory and experiential learning, a major or minor in education studies is interdisciplinary and complements majors or minors in psychology, communication, English, peace and conflict studies and history.

Quan Nguyen

Nevertheless, I have never once regretted my decision to walk on this path.-Quan Nguyen
